At the Chicks Along the Canal Craft Show in Little Falls NY yesterday. This is Christy Lemp, who shared a booth with me. She is a fine watercolorist. The next time we will be together will be at the Clothesline Show in Rochester NY in early September. Here's a link to her blog:

Fresh from all of my fun at Haystack, I have been looking at new designs. These pendants are some new ideas. I have combined tin, bottle caps, beads, wooden ruler pieces and steel jump rings.

I am just back from 2 amazing weeks working with Bob Ebendorf and Marissa Sanehotlz at Haystack Mountain School of Crafts on the beautiful coast of Maine. We worked at capturing, securing, found items on or with metal. We were instructed to be playful and creative with materials. So much fun and lots of work along with lots of freshly baked cookies, yummy meals
and even a lobster dinner. This is a charm bracelet which includes steel wire, copper, a pottery chard, bottle cap, and a Japanese coin.
This can be worn as either a brooch or pendant and is made with brass, rusted steel, found mandible, pearls, and a piece of old jewelry.

This brooch combines a concrete flower, tin image, costume jewelry and textured copper.
These three are from the paintbrush bead series I have started and will continue to work on. A tin mold, bottle caps, pieces of jewelry, steel wire and tin have been used as well.
