A productive day in the workshop. Worked on three ideas: one with the objects found on Christmas day roaming the streets of Philadelphia, one with beads and the third a continuation of an idea started last summer at Haystack.

Here is one of the little window pieces I have been working on....2 vintage beer cans (a bit thicker than the current ones), a beaded necklace, eyelets, brass wire and beads. These are fun to make!

Snow Day

Snow days are wonderful trying out new ideas.....a true gift of time. So here are some earring designs I was playing around with today.

My workshop! It is carved into a part of our basement, though well lit, (3 windows), it has no heat. Great for banging around!

More cutting today along with folding the tin. The women came from a tomato paste tin and a oil oil can. Fun making these little windows. Getting better at working with this technique. Both are brooches. I like the folded edge and the uneven way it makes little curtains for the windows.
