An art teacher friend of mine recently gave me a bunch of prismacolor pencil tins from her classroom.
I loved the section on the back where the color samples are located.

New shaped dangle earrings.  Snowy and windy today...a good time to hole up for a couple hours in the studio.  When is spring coming?

Bead workshop last night at the Schweinfurth in Auburn.    So much fun to be with these creative students.

Come join me at the Schweinfurth Art Center in Auburn, NY to make a tin bead necklace on  March 16, 6-8 for the second in the series of Make Shift classes for the spring of 2013. We will be using a variety of metal smithing tools on a variety of tin from vintage beer cans and juice cans. Participants will have their choice of stringing their new beads on black rubber necklaces or ball chain.

I carved out enough weekend time to finish these necklaces which have been hanging out on my workbench for a while.
